"There is a close connection between literature and photographic art, in both cases we meet the imaginary and photography itself is part of fiction."
Photographs, taken in Marcin’s bedroom, expose aspects of identity that are personal and intimate.
Dolls is an exhibition with photographer Marica Innocente which will present a female voyeuristic perspective on feminist issues in art making, including the female gaze. The exhibition investigates psychology in BDSM and fetish subculture, bringing together a visual documentative narrative.
Marica Innocente is an active open member of the European queer porn and BDSM community. Innocente explores her own personal and interpersonal relationships with feminism through her distinctive connection with this subculture. Her work also examines themes of liquid sexuality, sex work and pornoterrorism. Pornography being a patriarchal culture, Innocente brings a broken aesthetic to the fantasy of visceral beauty.
We are offering photographers a cost-effective solution to publishing their photobooks and publishing projects.
